Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage

This AAM MUSE Award-winning exhibit reveals the little-known story of the Underground Railroad in Indiana and Kentucky at the crux of the Ohio River, which serves as a symbol for the enduring struggle between slavery and freedom.

Told through the words of some of the very people who risked their lives to help escaping African Americans find their way, the exhibit captures the harrowing reality of a slave’s life on the run and unravels surprising truths about northern and southern sentiments toward slavery.

“I believe they have the best team of designers and project managers in the business.”
