Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage

In 2006, when we collaborated with the Carnegie Center for Art & History to create Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage, we had no idea the “legs” that project would have.

Six years and numerous awards later, we’ve collaborated once again to create a 60-minute network broadcast feature based on that groundbreaking permanent exhibit.

With original spirituals and imagined voices of people who lived that history, the film helps broaden the Carnegie Center’s outreach mission and make the story accessible for those who cannot visit in person. The film debuted April 2012 on the Kentucky Educational Television (KET) network.
