As part of a planned multi-million dollar renovation to the Jim Beam campus, the Beam Shop retail and Bourbon Tasting venue were updated.
Using an existing building on site, the Beam American Outpost was transformed from an outdated, cramped retail environment into a spacious setting. The look and feel was revised to reflect the heritage of the Jim Beam brand as well as to reflect the contemporary images of the Beam small batch brands. Retail fixtures were custom designed and fabricated, including a transaction counter, product showcases, apparel, and gift item displays. In the neighboring tasting area, product display cases, multi-media equipment, tasting bars, wall treatments, and furnishing were designed or specified to convey a sense of excitement and create “talkability”.
The American Outpost was a Solid Light turn-key design/build project that opened in September, 2009 to rave reviews from the client, media and customers. |
